I’m often told that I have
a way with words...
I work with brands that are at a loss for words.
Brands that have a story and a message to share, but may find themselves talking at their customers, instead of talking with their customers.
That’s where I come in - my job is to help brands rediscover their words and develop a clear voice.
Only then can the conversation really flow.
Specialising in ‘nicely put’ copywriting.
Think of it as a perfectly worded conversation that leaves the customer impressed, informed and completely won over. It may take place on your website, on your socials, over email, or even on a billboard.
It’s important to note however, that copywriting has nothing to do with the little black c inside a circle. The copywriting that I do rarely involves circles. Except if you include the letter o. In which case, I suppose I do use circles. Quite frequently, actually.
I put this rambling down to the fact that writing about one’s self is not easy. This is why having a professional copywriter on board to help with your copy is a good idea.

Lauren-who?
I’m the person who texts in full sentences. With punctuation. I refuse to use convoluted acronyms nor will I replace words for numbers when the real word is just as easy. I feel physical discomfort when I read a grammatically incorrect sign and if there are typos on a menu I have this overwhelming urge to find a red pen.
I wrote my first book in Kindergarten and I believe it was hilarious. I was aptly rewarded with an item of my choice from the secret room of confiscated toys. I picked a bouncy ball. It was sparkly.
Fast forward a few years *cough decades* and I still enjoy getting lost in a good book (time & children permitting), creating clever copy (time & children permitting) and, unfortunately for my husband, I still really, really love things that sparkle.
2005 | Graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing and Management) from the University of Newcastle.
2009 | First taste of adland working at local agency, Artbeat.
2010 | Hopped across to boutique agency, Little Green Frog, working with some of the top food & lifestyle media outlets in the country.
2014 | Jumped up to Newcastle’s largest agency, Enigma, planning and negotiating media campaigns for clients nationwide.
